Sanad Assembly: For Humility and Love
Asalamualiakum,
My dear brothers and sisters, Our honorable Ustadh Amir is back from his trip to Egypt. Yesterday, he brought back a reminder to fill our heart with Iman. Today, with the help of our respected Ustadh Rehan, we talked about a new concept called Humility. Humility is when you have respect for others and you don’t feel that you are better then anyone. The best example is our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). He was abused in Makkah where he lived. Garbage was thrown at him and kids that would be told by their parents to throw rocks at him. Upon returning to Makkah, he lowered his head lower than his camel’s head. He gave gifts to the new Muslims to the point where the believers in Madinah were asking, why? Our wise role model, Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)’s, reason was so that that new Muslims will have love in their hearts and not think that the Prophet was going to harm or seek revenge on the new Muslims. To put it short, he would remove the worry in their hearts. So as Sanad Learning Center students, we follow our motto which is BLTP- Be Like the Prophet.
